Your Right to Data Deletion

At SINAIQ, we respect your right to control your personal data. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information at any time. This page explains how to exercise this right and what to expect from the deletion process.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Option 1: In-App Deletion

  1. Log into your SINAIQ account
  2. Navigate to Settings → Account
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to privacy@sinaiq.com with:

  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • The email address associated with your account
  • Your full name
  • Any additional verification information we may have requested during signup

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon receiving and verifying your deletion request, we will delete the following:

  • Account Information: Email address, name, password hash, profile picture, and account preferences
  • Generated Content: All text, images, and videos you created using our platform
  • Usage Data: Activity logs, feature usage history, and interaction data
  • Preferences: Saved settings, templates, and customizations
  • Communication History: Support tickets and chat history with BADU

Deletion Timeline

After we receive and verify your request:

  • Within 24-48 hours: We will acknowledge your request and begin the verification process
  • Within 7 days: Your data will be removed from our active production systems
  • Within 30 days: Your data will be purged from all backup systems
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming the completion of the deletion process

Data We May Retain

In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some information for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes:

  • Financial Records: Transaction history and invoices may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance
  • Legal Obligations: Data required for ongoing legal proceedings or disputes
  • Fraud Prevention: Limited information to prevent abuse and protect our users
  • Anonymized Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data that cannot be linked back to you

Any retained data is stored securely and used only for the specific purposes outlined above.

Third-Party Data

When you request data deletion, we will also instruct our third-party service providers (such as payment processors and analytics services) to delete your data where applicable. Please note that some third parties may have their own retention policies and timelines.

Before You Delete

Before submitting a deletion request, please consider:

  • Export Your Data: Download any content you wish to keep, as deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • Active Subscriptions: Cancel any active subscriptions to avoid future charges
  • Credits: Any unused credits will be forfeited upon account deletion

Your Rights

We comply with global privacy regulations including GDPR (European Union), CCPA (California), and other applicable laws. You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (this page)
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
